Kristy & Wade

So today we met w/ Kristy & Wade in La Jolla for their engagement session and man, there sure was some May gray going on BUT, Kristy & Wade came w/ their bright smiles, laid back personalities and made the shoot too easy. They were such naturals at everything we asked them to do.
Wade was more than willing to participate in all the smooching, hugging,touching and straddling we asked! :) (Chris and Wade have way TOO much in common!)

We're so excited to shoot their Wedding June 14, 2008 because we know it's going to be stress free and because well,we all mesh so well!

Kristy & Wade you guys are truly awesome! Like I said earlier, Chris and I enjoy every Wedding we're about to shoot thanks to many many couples just like you!
You guys made today so easy and fun despite our meeting location! :)

Amara's shoot!

Today, Chris and I decided to take our youngest, Amara, out for some new & updated pictures.
We just traveled right around our neighborhood and put her in some cute spots.
Amara did SO SO good, she didn't whine or complain not once ~ that's Mommy's girl!! I think I was done before she was :)
Amara does have a tendency to scrunch her nose, stick out her tongue and make crazy faces when she knows she's getting her picture taken so she did very well at not doing all of the above too often (okay that's because we asked her not to).

After doing that shoot, I was glad we did because we didn't really have too many recent ones of her, next shoot will be w/ our other daughter Alanna so check back soon!

Lisa & Kenny

These two got married today at The Ocean View Villa's on Sunset Cliffs Blvd. We were super excited to shoot here because it was our first time at this location!

Lisa and Kenny saw each other before the ceremony and Lisa had it all set up on how they would meet. Kenny waited @ the edge of the cliff
located right outside of The Villa's. Lisa came out to meet her soon to be husband! It was so cute, Lisa and Kenny both were really excited to see each other!
We took a few pictures there and headed down to the beach (where we had ALOT of audience & applause...YAY!)along w/ the Bridal Party.
The Bridal party was super cool and easy to work with, you gotta love it when that happens!

Lisa and Kenny's reception was held at The Ocean View Room in
Point Loma-outside of course, and everything there was great too! We had to take L & K out to rocks where both, Lisa and Kenny loved! We would've LOVED to stay longer but we had to let them get back to enjoy the rest of their evening, which by the way the weather was PERFECT for the outdoors. I'm sure it was exactly what Lisa wished for!

Not a dull moment today! Thank you Lisa and Kenny for giving us the opportunity to be your Videographers & Photographers! We all had a blast!

My brother's 40th!

Jeez what's w/ the 40th Bday parties? OK, OK, only two this week!
So, my sister in law (Tina) threw my big brother (Robby) his 40th Bday party.

I love it when us siblings all get together! It was cool to see everyone having such a good time, especially my brother! He's so funny when he has a
few Coronas (and some Patron shots) cause man, he sure does L*O*V*E EVERYONE...
I got lotsa huggs,Chris got lotsa huggs,Cindy got lotsa huggs, Scott got lotsa huggs, okay- get the point? Robby hugged and loved everyone! Ahhhhh but he's so cute!

I still can't get over how big my 1st born nephew Ross, has gotten, 20 to be exact! Dammit, that just means I'm getting OLDER! Ugh!

So anyway the night was great, the guys and some gals played a game called "ping pong beer"-hmmmm...I watched and didn't quite get it but then again I'm not sucha game person so I walked around some more taking random pictures w/ our not so professional Fuji camera. I'm SO lost w/out our Canon camera :( So excuse the not so "professional" pics!

Robby was out @ about 10:30ish so we stayed a bit longer and had to call it a night!

Happy 40th Bday Robby! I LOVE YOU BROTHER!

Cynthia and Gilbert

Cynthia and Gilbert got married on April 19,2008 @ The Handlery Hotel.
I was the Videographer that day and Chris of course, was the photographer.
We hadn't shot together like that in a long time :)

We had very little time for pictures BUT, we did steal the newlyweds for a few minutes during the reception. Cynthia was so funny during our shoot, she was striking a new pose every other second! She was so natural., as for Gilbert, he was just taking it all in!

The crowd @ the reception was such a lively crowd, you could just see how excited everyone was for Cynthia & Gilbert. Everyone just danced the night away!

Cynthia & Gilbert we enjoyed ourselves and we loved working w/ you both!
Good luck w/ all those babies that your families requested :)

Vivian & Fernando

OK, what can I possibly say about these two except for AWESOME,FUN,COOL,EASY GOING,ENERGETIC,and SO IN LOVE!
Vivian & Fernando's Wedding was held on March 29,2008. The ceremony was held @ The Immaculata (Beautiful as always) and the reception was held @ The Marina Village, Baja room. Get this, it was their 10 year anniversary! Ahhhh how sweet! (ahhhem finally Fernando!)

We had a few hours for our shoot and if you don't already know Chris, he LOVES to travel for different backdrops :) Vivian was such a trooper that day, she walked and walked and...walked. Vivian just kept saying "Let's do it."
Fernando was so sweet, he helped his wife w/ what ever she needed, like carrying her heavy bouquet! Good teamwork Fernando!
During the reception Fernando gave his sooper cool wife a gift, it was from my favorite store! It was a Tiffany necklace, ahhhh... again how freekin sweet!

At the reception they had everything...Mariachis,Emcee, DJ and a live band, man,that crowd CAN boogie! The dancing was so fun to watch~ I forgot I was there to work
(dang it)!
The Bridal party had the same personalities as Vivian & Fernando! I felt really comfy w/ all the girls! Thanks girlies!
Chris and I had a GREAT time,good food,and good laughs on your day!

Lisa & Anthony

Lisa & Anthony were such a down to earth couple, they didn't seem to be nervous at all, if they were, it didn't show. :)
Lisa & Anthony's Wedding & reception were both held @ Zosa's Garden in Fallbrook, on March 8, 2008.
Their ceremony site was BEAUTIFUL, lots of greenery and blue skies!
Gosh, I love it when that happens.
When the ceremony ended Lisa & Anthony picked up their daughter and walked down the aisle holding her! I couldn't help but drop a few tears because (I'm a cry baby!) I could see how in love they were w/ not only each other but also w/their gorgeous daughter!

After the ceremony, Chris took a huge group shot, & the guests made it so easy!!! They all just went up and made it seem like they practiced it a few times! It came out great!
The reception was really laid back not stressful @ all! They had a "lil" family member sing their first dance song, and it was SO cute!

Jenn Go was the Wedding coordinator that day and she as always kept us informed on what was going on! Thanks for all your hard work Jenn and for taking care of us!
