Romana & Farhan Day Two~"Mehndi"

There are only a few photos to show for now as we are doing a slide show for their final event and don't want to show too many (you know we had to show a couple!)

WOW! Tonight was lots of things...for starters, COLORFUL!,(LOVE it!!!)exciting,energetic,lively, emotional, entertaining and culturally interesting! (at least that's how I felt :))
Chris and I were really excited to shoot tonight because we knew we were shooting a really unique event, we also had a chance to work w/ our IVP partners,
Lora & Daniel, and Stacie too (Lora hired our good friend Stacie who is also an experienced Videographer to help capture the night).

So tonight was pretty much another celebration of their Marriage and a welcoming of one anothers families.

It was pretty intense as Farhan made his Grand entrance. Farhan's family escorted him to Romana's family and as a warm Welcome Frahan and his family receive hugs from Romana's family and were also showered with flowers.

As our adrenaline slowed down it was time for miss cutie Romana's Grand entrance...the same happened to Romana,except this time Farhan was waiting for Romana. When Romana took her seat next to Farhan their families started all the blessings!

As the blessings were going on there was an event called The Dholki which is where the Women in the family sit,sing, and play instruments(one of my most favorite parts of the night!).

Tonight was definitely very different from what we're use to capturing,but it was a very pleasant experience for all of us here @ IVP. The night was totally AWESOME and AMAZING!

Romana and Farhan, the night was great! We all really enjoyed ourselves. We can't wait to shoot next weekend! Have a great trip to Vegas!
